so i have yet to unveil my undying love of Current TV.
its pretty much the best thing going right now.
it has created a web based format and converted it to television.
however, you can still get it online as well.
this channel is basically user content.
there are some actual staff but for the most part people like you and me turn in the videos..
i cant even begin to tell you how amazing this channel is.
its tv in a.d.d. format
short little snipets that are informative
with google facts sprinkled here and there.
so there is a segment called iM or infoMania, and the main correspondent is conor knighton.
the segment most commonly talks about thins going on in the media through tv and the internet.
this afternoon was a segment about the financial publications (i.e. wallstreet journal) and how unhelpful their new virals on finance are...
brett erlich is sometimes on infomania and is pretty humorous..
this is his take on the situation..
did i mention how funny he is???

this is music 03.20.08
i just realized that
1. i havent blogged about my newest musical loves
and
2. i havent even blogged in over a week!
so how about both at one time?
Digitalism's Idealism
- this sound gets me going when im out for sure.
when i first listened to them, i was really into it so i- itunes'd- the album. then for some reason, i put it in the back of my head only to rediscover it a couple of days ago. it has a daft punk-y feel, but who wouldnt want more daft punk...
less daft punk
more digitalism party?
i think so!
Justice's †
first off, i dont know what didnt give it away, but this a group of christian djs form France.. not sure why that matters except maybe jews wont like them... and muslims, too.
anyway- they just happen to be playing a show with my boys flosstradamus!
but its in chicago- and tonight... haha..
they're somewhat all over the map, but i can shake my booty to it...
and you can, too...

this is americas best dance crew. really?
have you guys watched americas best dance crew?
well in short..
its a dance crew of about 7
guys and gals
they get themes and then make up routines that mimic or are inspired by that theme.
the host is our very own A.C. Slater.
the judges are Shane Sparks, Lil' Mama and JC Chasez
oh and i just read that randy jackson created the show.
so JC Chasez is one of the judges
im not really sure why he got picked..
because he was in nsync and has a little dance experience?
i mean i guess the mickey mouse club counts.
but anyways- he is soooo annoying to listen to.
he just appears awkward and doesnt know how to interact with the troupes.
[sidenote]
did you know randy jackson had a stint with Journey?
yea- dont stop believin' journey..
learn something everyday!

this is an indie film- so im told.
i think i might be the only one who thinks Juno was the worst thing to hit earth this past year.
even more so than the satellite we had to shoot down last month.
i just didnt like it.
i felt it was trying to have that indie feel.
now everyone and their mom is walking around thinking they are an indie movie lover.
pretentious, you say?
well, maybe, i am.
but really- didnt anyone else think this?
i felt the plot line was jumping all over the place
it made me uncomfortable to watch ellen page and jason bateman interact.
i had to cover my eyes anytime they were alone.
thanks for ruining my image of the bateman.
however, i will give credit for some of the more clever dialog in the movie.
Paulie Bleeker: I still have your underwear.
Juno MacGuff: I still have your virginity.
Paulie Bleeker: Would you shut up?
source
all in all, it was an o.k. movie, but not the "sleeper hit of the year"
- or whatever they were calling it.
- or maybe just a sleeper
but good for diablo cody-
wasnt she a stripper or something?
i guess she was the real success story.
oh and ellen page is adorable in general.
wonder what juno would look like had this worked out..
hahaha
